- Appliances and water heaters
- Batteries
- Friable and nonfriable asbestos

Do I need to worry about damage to my driveway?
While we can’t guarantee zero damage due to varying driveway conditions, all of our dumpsters are equipped with rubber rollers that significantly reduce the risk of scarring commonly caused by standard steel rollers. Upon request prior to delivery, our drivers will place protective boards under the dumpster’s rails and wheels to help distribute weight and protect your driveway—at no additional cost.
How far in advance do I need to order a dumpster?
48 hours notice is appreciated, but when possible we can provide it as quickly as the same day.
Do I have to be home for the delivery and pickup of the dumpster?
You do not need to be home for delivery or pickup of your dumpster if you have paid with a credit card during the order. If paying by cash or check, we will need to collect upon delivery of the dumpster or through a different arrangement.
Please do ensure that the area is clear of any vehicles or obstacles.
What size dumpster do I need?
The dumpster size you need depends on your project and specific requirements. GreenCity Waste offers dumpsters with container sizes ranging from 10 to 40 yards.
Here’s a quick guide:
- 10-yard: Ideal for minor renovations, small DIY projects, roofing jobs, and landscaping.
- 20-yard: Sufficient for whole-room remodels, warehouse cleanouts, and yard waste.
- 30-yard: Ideal for new construction, commercial roofing, and demolition jobs.
- 40-yard: Large scale demolition, hoarder situations, and commercial projects
How long can I rent a dumpster for?
Our standard pricing is based on a 7-day rental, but we offer flexible rental periods so your project can be completed without delay—whether it takes a few days or a few weeks. Additional charges may apply.
Can I reschedule or change the date?
Not a problem! Our teams work around your schedule, and we can work with you to reschedule pickup and drop-off.
Can I place the dumpster on the street?
Yes, BUT…
Some cities require a permit in order for the dumpster to be placed on a street. Please check with your local municipality.
